Is this pregnancy test accurate? I’m not sure…help please?

I had light spotting and abnormal cramps plus breast enlargement and darker nipples (odd). And i had unprotected sex 3 weeks prior to all of this, so i took a test (this is embarrassing) i thought i had peed on it but only slightly and only the tip turned a bit pink, there was a faint faint line but hardly noticeable so i drank some water and waited about 10-15 minutes and has success with hitting the target this time, it was positive. Am i really pregnant?
Or did I screw up the test resulting in an inaccurate result?
the pee never got absorbed….how could it be wrong? I don’t get paid til next thursday, i can’t buy a new one, is there a site that can back up that it is not accurate at all?
Yes i used the same test because there was no result because i didn’t get anything on it, nothing even soaked in. I’ve never heard of a test saying positive as a false result, only negative, wouldn’t it have said negative since it only says positive if it detects the hormones? It was Clear Blue by the way.
turns out it was an accurate result. I am pregnant i took another test today, thanks for your help though.
If you used the same test it screws it up. Go buy a few new tests and redo them. And use the first morning urine since it has the most concentration of hormones.
im guessing u used a new one because if u used the same one it might be wrong!
It sounds like you are pregnant. By drinking water and peeing again, you didn’t screw up the test results. Congrats!
why don’t you take the test again just to be sure. i hear there are a loto of false negatives but not a lot of false positives. good luck.
the pregnancy test is 99% accurate, it could say you’re not pregnant but you could be.
if it said positive, you are pregnant. go to the local medical clinic. they will do it for free.
Well you probably didn’t wait long enough to check the test in the first place. If you did it wrong, it would not come up positive, read the instructions pamphlet. It ill show you the different results for an invalid test. If these don’t match your, then you are… I made the same mistake, you may have thought you didn’t get enough pee on it, and you probably didn’t get enough to get a result in a minute or two. So it just took alittle longer to read it. But next time, dont use the same test…
You can’t use the same test twice, it’s totally screwed up if there was a faint line before. Wait until you get you paycheck and get another one.
